Hot Shoeing. Pastel

I left school to go to agricultural college to study dairy farming and thus started a lifelong love of all things agricultural: cows, pigs, sheep and the few remaining heavy horses still on farms in the 60’s. I also helped out as a groom to a team of shires, learning how to clean and re-assemble their harness and put it on a horse correctly.
I love Becker’s work as it embodies everything I have seen in the past 50 years and I hope in some small way to perpetuate his vision with my work.

I have exhibited at Mall Galleries with the Pastel Society, Society of Women Artists, Society of Equestrian Artists and the Armed Forces Art Society.

Janice has unfortunately had to withdraw from this year’s exhibition.
