Christopher Milham

I am inspired by the brushwork of Harry Becker’s landscapes and the light, moods, colours and textures he gives to farmland and rural life. The freestyle drawings of his naive mark making and charcoal lines which he incorporated into this artwork of the countryside, have inspired me to express the atmosphere of the rural landscape of the Blyth Valley now with flowing simplicity and lively brushwork. This area of Suffolk has become a focal point within my artwork, since making this lovely area my home.
