Chris joins us for the first time in 2019.
My farming landscapes explore the contrast between the lines and shapes created by hedgerows and boundaries, and the straight lines produced by modern farming methods. In black and white the lines and shapes are given greater emphasis due to the absence of colour. Subtle shades of grey provide just enough details to add a further layer of interest to the scene.
The images are all taken in Norfolk and Suffolk landscapes where the lines of hedges and boundaries replace the shapes and textures found in the hills and valleys of many other more rugged parts of the country.
