Becker captured the feel of Suffolk and beyond, through seeking to find truth in the landscape. By constantly recording the lines, shapes and patterns he viewed, he found inspiration to develop images reflecting its beauty. Taking this as a starting point for development, the often neglected and overlooked landscape of this area is one where freedom is found. To capture and create beauty through looking, mark making, process and imagination leads to a development of new ideas which result in an enticing array of abstract images. There’s an uncompromising freedom to be found here which returns the artist back to her East Anglian roots.
