Alison exhibits with us for the first time this year.
I joined IBBAS because I love being outdoors and love sketching with fellow sketchers; the shared experience is both a creative and a social activity. I am an abstract painter and my ideas often form in my subconscious through sketching. I sketch in watercolour as I like to make a mess, and like Becker, I work quickly and freely. Also like Becker I am inspired by the Suffolk landscape, and of course by the coast. Recently I have found that I am including what are possibly dug up memories of fragments of artefacts I have seen in the landscape in my abstracts; they could be fence posts or rotting jetties. http://www.alisonadcock.com/
